This year, Melbourne Cup takes place at the Flemington Racecourse on November 1, Tuesday at 3pm. This 32,000 meter race has become a national passion. Melbourne Cup day is a holiday in Australia, hundreds of people find their way just to watch the event.

The Melbourne Cup is considered as the most important race in Australia. It is usually called as the race that stops the nation. The race is far longer as compared to any other major racing events.
